I'm having problems entering Gitch City, no matter what I do it stays stuck on the same screen, it's been like this since the update from 9.5.7 to 9.5.8, I waited for the next updates to see if updating it would fix the game, but when I enter it tells me that I have a save from 9.5.7 and it automatically loads that save that is corrupted with the bug that gets me stuck on a screen where I can't do anything, i dont know what to do.

This means a fatal error happened in the game, which is really bad. Please check your game's folder and look for an "Error Log (Date).txt". If you find one, please copy/paste the contents here for me to read.

I can't find it, I don't know if it's because I don't know how to search or because the problem originated on a different computer than the one I'm using now. I transferred the game from one computer to another with a pendrive, so it should be the exact same in both of them. I can't even find where the saves in general are saved.

A new bug report, likely relates to save states.
As I've loaded the game today and checking through offers of other prisoners, I've hastily closed the game in cell selection menu. After logging back in, the game appeared to display the state of previous day, with all NPCs, bits on the floor and shop stock being in accordance with what they were yesterday before I left (although I've sold my EXEs that day in bank/exchange, so I was still out of EXE and EXE rates went down). Daily reward was also claimed, but otherwise - everything else was as how it was yesterday. I've done prison office before checking through shop stocks, so I basically missed an opportunity to buy any new items in style shop. At the same time, all prison cells got reset as if I haven't cleared them (which I actually did before quick-closing the game). I think it might worth looking into.

Thank you for your report.

However, judging by how you described the problem, it sounds like the game wasn't able to save to disk. Saving to disk often happens when the game closes, even if it is by pressing the X on the upper-right corner of the window. (This is how the game engine I'm using works. Unity)

I will double-check this problem and see how I can improve this. However, I can't make any promises that I can make a fix to this.

Ah... Too fast...
I pay 3$ for passcode but it's dated of Jul 03, 2024

Hey, any chance on this getting a build for linux?

Use Lutris.

Sadly, I'm not good with linux.

nude byte on wine 10.1 works well with my ubuntu

(1 edit)

And one more report for me.

It seems like bashers are in dire need for rewrite of their AI. As I currently practice teleporting playstyle, I've observed the behaviour where a basher would stand still for a good while after puffing up her chest. My guess is that they wind up for a dash as they see me, but freeze on a place as I leave their line of sight (or, more typically, plane, as they seem to observe the player only within horisontal plane and their linear pathing). They can stay like this for quite a long time, until either shot down or if the player shows up in their field of vision in the same plane as they are.

Potential fixes would probably be to either allow them to deflate after a short period of time if dash wasn't initiated, so they'd continue to look for player doll to attack, or allow them to initiate the dash after wind-up regardless if the player is still within FoV or not. Their AI seems to be otherwise still smart enough to not dash off the edges of the map/planes, and even have some degree of mobility during the dash as they sometimes can turn while attacking.

(A little extra to this report, but I've been keeping tabs on NPCs and where I've met them. Out of all NPCs, Mist is the only one that I've met in only 4 buildings, not counting Gallery. Don't think I've seen her in Bank/Exchange once. Might be bad luck, but might as well be worth investigating. Also was there a consideration for creating a bug report form? I am starting to feel like me reporting my findings in comments might be a bit of a nuisance. All while I don't really see any other place to report them)

I'm aware of this behavior of Bashers (where they stop infinitely until they find a target) and I let it be like that since, while play-testing the game before, I found it more convenient and easier to play. I'm not sure if fixing it will be a good idea, but I'll look into it when I get the chance.

Also, feel free to share your reports here. I think it's a good place for me to see these reports and make changes to the game.

(And sadly, the randomness of NPCs are simply random. I suppose it's just bad luck)

Another report from me! Not sure if bug or a feature, but I'll report regardless.

Recently I started to get more intimate with mouse aka teleport doll, seeing how much better on the field she fares to me versus my usual pick of a kitty dash. With level 4 ability to slow down time, if you start shooting right after teleporting to a wall, you can have a period of "bullet time" as you're on your way to land due to lingering slow-mo effect from scoping during teleportation. It doesn't seem to affect much in terms of damage output or anything, as you, enemies and bullets still move at the same speed, but it does give the player some additional reaction time if they're teleporting to a location that is dense with enemies.

I have a suspicion that it's always been this way, and in all fairness, I'd probably suggest keeping it as is, since it seems to be more like a fun gimmick/tech than an actual bug.

Thank you for reporting this.

But I haven't checked it yet, but since you mentioned you like it, I'm not making changes to it for now.

Thank you!

In all fairness, while having this bullet time is indeed enjoyable on itself, it can be also exploited with some weapons.

For example, Focused Fan actually has a very low delay between shots, so if you can click really fast, you can unleash an enormous barrage of bullets at the enemy, allowing you to quickly deal with a threat at close range. While I'm not sure if it can be exploited by users with some sort of "Turbo" functionality that could emulate a high amount of button presses within short time, "bullet time" certainly allows you to spam Focused Fan, letting you to deal with an enemy faster on a game timer than you'd usually do it. This behaviour can probably also be experienced with other weapons that have short delay between shots, so there might be a need for making a choice of either keeping this gimmick despite spam potential (obvious drawback is amount of energy you'll spend on such barrage without reneg since you're in mid-air), re-balancing weapons (adding extra delay to weapons that haven't had it before) or removing the gimmick. I wish there was more feedback on it, that would certainly make it a bit easier to consider how many people even use that trick and how useful they find it to be.

(1 edit) (+1)

Well after 100% the game again i can give more feedback :).

1- Let us exit menus and chats (Back) with ESC.

2- Let us buy the following weapon cards without having to rely on rerolls... i spend like 300+ rerolls just for get the new 4 weapon cards. (Rerolls are fine but...).

3- It would be nice if you would let us start with 1 doll and the 3 stat cards of the other 3 dolls (not the main guns cards).

And that is all for now thanks for making this great game <3.

Thank you for your feedback.

Is there a discord server?

(+1)

Technically, ManyakisGames has a discord, but it's mostly used for Patreon stuff.

Sadly, there's no Discord server dedicated for Nude Byte.

Will there be a separate render distance option?

I can try adding this sometime in the future when I get the chance.

(1 edit)

Not sure if a bug or a feature, but I've recently started to pay closer attention to the cards that my dolls wield to battle, as I've became more interested to play with customisation, now that I have nearly every card available. It seems like whenever the day in Glitch City resets, my dolls also get their equipped cards swapped, instead of keeping what I gave them. I haven't tested it in detail, but just yesterday I had my bunny and puppy wear Hunter AI cards for Basher and Spammer, and as I entered today to check on bank affairs (last few days were terrible on EXE market) - they ended up wearing cards with no attributes, and those weren't even the same characters I equipped on them! Still not sure what happened there, I'll try to monitor it some more and report on any findings that might help to pinpoint the issue.

Update: The issue doesn't seem to be related to the Glitch City resets, but it's definitely there and it's a bit hard to say what exactly causes it. I still can't say for sure, but just today I've observed how instead of having equipped U001 +1 U002 +1 U002 +1 U023 +7 on my dolls from top to bottom, I ended up with U014 +0 U000 +0 U001 +1 U022 +2. There is no rhyme to it, and I can't clearly understand the reason to this happening. The only imaginable culprit would be the fact that yesterday the only thing that I've done was collect cards and money from prisoners, check all building NPCs, collect all bits on the city floor and leave without entering Tangent Twins building/fighting any battles. Might've even opened one of card packs. So my guess would be that equipped cards shifted within a save file during the process, meaning that equipment is tied to a slot of data within a save instead of item id. But that's just a wild guess, I still have no reliable way to reproduce the issue.

Thank you for the detailed report.

I made changes in 6.5.11 to hopefully prevent this, but I have a feeling it doesn't make a difference. I'll revisit this error in the future when I get the opportunity.

Will there be a OST of the game in the future?

If you want to look for OST - when you enter the buildings, the name of the track can pop up in the bottom right corner, same place where other credits show up (you do need to have an option "Corner Credits" turned on in general settings for that). I believe all the music that Manyakis is currently using is public domain, so you should have no issues finding the songs, all while the best anyone else can do for soundtrack is to compile some sort of youtube playlist.

how do I do reroll battles

In "Tangent Twins" building, where you choose the arena, there will be a "Reroll Battles" option at the top. You get rerolls as you perform battles, and each reroll would require to spend at least some amount of time fighting bytes. Amount of rerolls is capped at 99.
Otherwise, battles and weapons get rerolled after 8 battles (challenges excluded), but that also ultimately resets a day in Glitch City.

I love this game!!  Devs and writers did amazing ❣️❣️❣️

Please can someone help me the game isn't recognizing my gamepad, it isn't responding to the game but works on other games

Literally never commented on itch before.

Just wanted to say that this is seriously one of the best, well made, genuinely fun to play games I've come across of this category. Wish I had the means to support your work monthly, can't wait to see where this one goes.

They actually do

here not having the means to do sth means hes short on cash

(+1)

Is there an upgrade in the boost station that pings the sluts in Glitch City so I can zip right to them and not have to roam around squirting every doll I find? If not, can I humbly request one?

And does the fact that I as a human being typed out that ridiculous off-the-wall sentence with my own two hands get me any bonus points?

This was a requested feature before. Sadly, I haven't worked on this yet. Perhaps someday in the future, but right now, Nude Byte's major development has been on hold for several months.
(The only exceptions for the updates are for bug-fixing and additional Patreon-based monthly suggestions)

(+1)

add futanari toggle please!!!!

(1 edit) (+1)

Man forget the actual game, I'm just gonna play PacMan in Glitch City forever. (I'm joking by the way, the main game is perfectly well-done)

Literally me every time Glitch City day resets.

Not so much an issue or complain, but more of a notion.
I decided to go for Twins Challenges today, and as I haven't done them before aside from just once for access to each room, I got to do unlock other stuff at last.
The thing that kinda disturbs me is that, apparently, when you have options obtained that would be no longer available (access to the room, Surge unlock), wardens still speak of full list of unlocks as if you actually have these options. I do understand that it would require additional writing... but it's still kinda weird to have room option unlocked, pick another option and then receive a dialogue that instead of room option you picked another.
Additionally, since today was the first time when I exhausted my pick options, I got to pick one with money. It seems like there is also no check in the game if you choose money for the first time as a reward from a warden or not, as in dialogue I got her exclaiming that I pick the money "again", despite it literally being the first time. RNG dialogue picks can be wild sometimes.
I understand that it's not easy to write a lot of dialogues (and even less easy to perform all the checks to pick them in accordance with existing setup), being attentive to all potentialities, but I still hope that there will be more dialogue variety for wardens in the future, hopefully keeping in mind the status of your character aka options being already picked and whatnot.

(1 edit)

I'm aware of these unusual dialogues. However, it's hard for me to "fix" it because it will require a huge amount of dialogue for all the different possibilities.
I decided to let these unusual dialogues slip.
I can try to find a way to adjust these someday, but I can't make any promises.
However, the "Again" money dialogue (when it's the first time) sounds like a bug. I'll look into this. Thank you for reporting.

If the issue is the sheer amount of dialogues that needs to be written, I'd be more than happy to help with writing them, if given a chance. If the main issue is mostly writing the code to accomodate for each possibility, well I guess it is indeed cannot be helped. Alas, thank you for your response.

(+2)

Any chances for a full gallery unlock in a future update? This game demands too much time grinding for any sane players to reach 100% completion in the gallery. Unfortunately work does exist and I can't just spend all day beating this game >.>

(+2)

I was here a few months ago and enjoyed the game I also looked at your old game hot glue and wrote something there for ya. anyways I'm just here to say good job and I cant wait for what you add next and if possible a road map of the possible future. I and I'm sure a few others like to know what's next and get hyped over it anyways love the works keep it up 😁💕

(+2)

Call me a lazy little shit if you must, but the RNG/grind feels a bit much, especially with so many cards and such to unlock. Will there ever be a "cheat" or "debug" mode/menu added for those of us who want it, whether for this version or for the Full version in the future?

(2 edits) (+2)(-1)

I do not care if it triggers a jumpscare the moment I put it in; I want it. And I want it to be able to set EVERYTHING to be unlocked. Not just cards or skills; no, every single thing that can be collected, unlocked, and achieved should be able to be changed with it. Both so people who have done it legit can relock it because they are masochistic tardo maximas who want to shank themselves in the spleen for "fun," and also for people like the vast majority of the players playing this game, to skip the grind and get to the fun part, which should always be just playing the video game.

(+1)

You know what, I'm heartily encouraged by the fact that at least one other person feels the same way as me. And sure, maybe just as a fun little thing, it SHOULD jumpscare us. As long as we get such a menu/mode, I'd be plenty happy either way. I'd very much enjoy having a way to unlock EVERYTHING since I simply don't have the spare time to sink into this game to grind away at all of the content available. I saw elsewhere that even just to grind all of the weapon cards alone, with perfect luck on card RNG, it would take 17.5 hours. I just don't have that kind of time to sink into a NSFW game, as enjoyable as it can be. It would be a huge boost to be able to access all of the content as desired, and just continue to play a match or three here and there when I'm able to find the time.

(+1)

I imagine the jumpscare you all are talking about is basically...

the sound of EVERYTHING being unlocked AT THE SAME TIME, with HUNDREDS of "X was unlocked" messages appearing, right?

because, yeah, I've got some of those in other games and I always lose it badly, it makes me chuckle for minutes at the lag spike, loud sound and hundreds of pop-ups LOL

More so we're saying, we don't care what it takes to get a cheat/debug menu, we'll even take a jumpscare every time we use it lol. But honestly, yeah, the hundreds if not thousands of popups plus notification sounds with them is probably going to amount to the same thing on first use lmao, unless the menu itself bypasses it for performance's sake.

If you want all cards just for artwork, just check Manyakis' Patreon or Twitter smh Why would you need card unlocks specifically.
Everything else is pretty much unlockable by playing just a little bit. Saddle up and start clearing Warden challenges if you don't have enough bits to unlock some of artworks, it really doesn't take all that much time. Otherwise it kinda kills the purpose of those things being unlockables. Or cheat, no one will care, although you still will have to put in some effort to do it.

(+1)

are we able to replace the game models with our own models?

(-1)

I love this game and I always check here for a new update but it doesn't seem to be cared about a whole lot probably because it doesn't get a lot of attention. I'd assume you'd be way more motivated to update and develop the game if it got more traction so id just like to recommend you to focus on making more sex scenes and more sexual reasons to get hooked on the game for people that just scroll past it because it probably doesn't look too appealing to jerk it to it xd I absolutely love the gameplay and I think the gameplay is perfect for now, but there simply isn't any real sex scenes apart from the private rooms and just sexy visuals of the dolls and all. if the glitch city itself had like animated ads or other interactive minigames throughout based around sex scenes, I think that'd be a great addition to boost engagement and rly get people to play it. also I absolutely love the cards and current ads, it just really bothers me that you still cant get a lot of the ads unlocked in the gallery xd
Much love manyakis, please don't neglect this game!

I have looked everywhere I can think and I can't find a single mention about it: What is the purpose of the arms raising together when you look even a little bit down in Glitch City? I'm assuming it's something that's strictly visual, but it doesn't strike me as something sexy at all... So what's the point?

Fantastic game, though!! Just got to rank 5, and got my first lvl3 doll today :D

Technically, the reason is strictly visual. Looking down with the arms together blocks the view below, which is why I made it so the arms automatically move up. (The other solution I had before was to put the arms behind the player, but that would mean the player can't hold a dildo in front anymore, which is why I didn't go with this idea)

how to make Pair Fanart?

(1 edit) (+1)

Um I fell into more debt by asking the prisoners for money. Now im 39744 bits in debt What am I gonna do now?????

(+2)

Yo is there anyway you could make it so we can stack buy cards, it gets REALLY annoying going for cards I dont have and also not even knowing what cards are new T-T

Either ways hopefully we get another content update soon :P

They will translate it into Spanish?

有中文就好了,我太热爱这款游戏了

so, some stuff:

you can get down to your undies by taking enough damage, but it's risky cause you only get fully on the undies when VERY LOW.

with the nude passcode, you can get fully nude when capturing the ball and if you have "nude" set as undies, you have to get them via the style shop by luck of it appearing to buy, and 50K credits. then it's the same as above, get damaged until low health enough and you'll be naked. alternatively, with the nudity passcode, you can simply, while in glitch city, strip your dolls by squirting them, or interacting + toggling clothes.

(-4)

The challenges are impossible, better not to play

nel

(+2)

They are easy, for example, Ciella's I used a level 2 dog since you are immune to damage while rolling and a card that gives me immunity against the guys that run over you.

It's a matter of your build. Meira's challenge seems like it's impossible at first, but it becomes pretty simple once you get a dog to level 4. Ciella's challenge also isn't too bad if you just get a cat with a good card, make sure to pick up bits and lure enemies away from you before breaking the firewall.

Sounds like a skill issue

are the challenges supposed to be near impossible to complete?

(+3)(-1)

i apparently was too weak instead....

how do i run the game I downloaded it correctly but its just showing me a white screen

Really fun to play and it looks really good. So far the only issue I have it's that it keep resetting my resolution aspect every time I go to glitch city. (Sorry for my bad English)

It's great to see the game get better and better with every update. Keep up the good work !

I have been having a small inconvenience. Whenever there is a new version I just download it, launch and it will automatically notice the previous save on the older version, and after that I delete the old version's file. But with 6.5.5 I have been having an error log saying "Access to the path nudebyte.sav and Backup 6_5_4.nbb denied". The game starts fine and my save is there and everything work well so I'm not worried but should i change how I update to the new versions ?

Thank you for reporting this. Thankfully, this isn't a problem.
Long explanation: The game automatically make backups of your save data whenever a new version is detected. However, the location of the game's folder wasn't able to make the files, so it throws out that error log.
